Die Grazer Rapper Retainer Hitokiri, Finstarr und Chrome kommen gemeinsam auf 48 Jahre Live-Bühnen Erfahrung. Von verrauchten Kellerbars auf internationale Open-Air Bühnen und wieder zurück. Zwei Jahrzehnte und vier CD-Releases später warten die 3 noch immer auf den ganz großen Durchbruch. Internationale HipHop Größen sind der Meinung sie hätten das Potential dazu, nur liegen die Verkaufszahlen im künstlerischen Brachland Österreich unter dem Promillegehalt des Durchschnittsösterreichers (+Innen), also tun die 3 das, was man in so einer Situation immer tut: den Nachwuchs unterweisen. Nach der Show wissen dann alle: „Rapper haben’s auch nicht leicht“.

New Album "LEAPYEAR"
After years of selection, writing and starting over from scratch, late 2018 will finally see the release of Retainer Hitokiri’s solo CD “Leapyear”. Together with producer Martin Wirbel, the help of Canadian sound engineer Sam Ibbett and beatmakers Flow Budget, Chief Tartare (Austria) and Silent Noize (USA), “Leapyear” features a HipHop style combination of Rap, Jazz, Funk, Reggae and World music.
